Does it matter if people are not "up" on the latest historical ideas? Explain in light of the 2016 US election.

What has happened is, most of the voters making a political decision, is on the Bansi of the identities in the society as well as on the basis of partisan loyalities. When s person is not up to fat with what has been happening and with what had happened, they fail to carry out an honest examination of the reality. As a result of this, the outcomes of the elections are unexpected and turn out to be fairly random. In the 2016 elections, the expectations were for Hillary Clinton to win. When people are short on information, they result in substitution of the views with guesses and these guesses are compatible with the world view that would be making them comfortable. The reality is very complicated and when they don’t have ample information, they just try to form an entire picture with the information they have, making a sense out of the discussions prevalent in the environment.

People make rational choices when it is about the economies as they are well informed, but when people are not well informed, their decisions are not on the basis of the impact that it would have on the real world, since, they haven’t quite looked into it.

As a result, the decision based is on a memonwtsry feeling and not with a complete understanding of how a decision would be hurting their life or how a decision would be improving their life. As with the 2016 elections, some of the people had clearly recognised that trump was the clear spokesperson for some of the identities. Along with that, there was a familiarity in the reality TV which helped him become successfully implanted in the minds of people with the thought that he was the kind of lead r required by the people. It made them feel, that he was on the side of the people, as a result, they picked the one who was on their side.
