Technological innovation has both it's pros and cons which in other words means that it is harmful as well as beneficial to the society. Technology has made life easier. You can pay bills sitting right at home, booking tickets or even learning at home with virtual classes can get you a degree. That's the power of technology. One has to no longer face the struggle of olden times with respect to quality of life, commute or even communication. One had to stand in queues at a payphone to make calls to their loved ones across the country or the globe. You couldn't talk to your family overseas due to the high call rates.

However, having said that, technology has it's cons as well. Technology has made phone calls, communication, simpler. However, technological innovation has led to no communication between families due to the constant phones in their hands. Members of a family are often found on their phones instead of spending quality time with each other. Family time is a novelty now. Sitting down on the table to have dinner as a family without phones in hands is rare to see. Social interdependency and solidarity is definitely slowly diminishing in the new age of technology where we have everything at the touch of our fingers
