Parents need to understand the concept of gender equity while
buying toys for their children. The values they are inculcating in
their children also reflects in the choice of toys they buy for
boys and girls.Parents need to purchase toys that help girls
develop strength in science, technology, engineering, and
math,whereas, boys develop their caring and creative side, and any
kid develop into a well-rounded, curious adult. They need to change
their perspectives about gender and bring up their children equally
making girls strong and boys having an emotional side which can
empower both in the right manner. The choices of toys is making
boys more violent and more agressive which can be stopped by
parents by taking a stand against all the toy stores to stop
differentiating between genders and make toys which can be played
by both girls and boys.
