Answer #1

Automation:

Automation is a concept where the use of technology would be high without much human interference. It can either be a process or production or delivery of any goods or services which operates automatically.

I think automation is not negative due to below reasons:

  1. Automation helps in an error free work environment. Human errors can be erased with the help of automation.
  2. Most dangerous works which are done by humans can be avoided and human lives can be saved with the help of automation.
  3. Automation results in saving labor cost, material cost etc.
  4. Finally it gives quality outputs.

No, Automation does not increase the potential risk to the company and the reasons are provided below:

  1. Work which involves beyond human capabilities done through automation and hence organization need not depend only on human.
  2. Employees can be shifted to better jobs wherein they could use their skills and development instead doing manual labor.
  3. While automating there would be no sudden strike and stoppage of work, hence it is a great benefit to organizations.
