LGBT Clients means Lesbians, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Clients.Working with LGBT clients is the most difficult and challenging jobs than working with any other clients. Following traits are required for working with LGBT clients and offering them appropriate Remedial measures.

1. One who is working with Or interested to work with LGBT clients shall be very sensitive to understand the core issues of these people

2. One should be able to gain a reasonable amount of understanding about LGBT People

3. One should be able to communicate well with the LGBT People and win their trust in order to establish an healthy relationship between therapists and their patients

4. Making an LGBT patient comfortable with the idea of talking about confidential health issues and providing good information about available health care options

5. While addressing all patients for the first time, it is always advisable to avoid using pronouns and other terms that indicates a gender.

6. Avoid asking unnecessary questions to LGBT people

7. Maintain a non-judgemental attitude

8. Create an environment of Accountability

9. Understand diversity and fluidity of expression
