During public speaking, it is always better to use concrete words instated of abstract words. Concrete language helps the speaker communicate effectively with audience by speaking specific concepts or realities, instead of abstract theories. Concreteness helps the speaker to make the audience understand the information better by showing them exactly what he is speaking about. Abstract concepts can be very confusing for the audience as they do not understand how it is related to real life, and what the speaker is actually trying to say. Concrete speech involves giving real world examples and specific instances of the topic of discussion. Concreteness also helps the audience to classify the information, and makes it easier for them to remember it better.
