Colin wanted to get even, so he decided to scare Joshua. One morning before school, Colin drove his car at high speed directly at Joshua, intending to stop just before hitting him. Colin couldn’t stop in time, however, and Joshua was killed instantly. Answer the following questions:

Colin could be charged with involuntary manslaughter.

Reason: Colin killed Joshua unintentionally and it was the result of recklessness or criminal negligence, such as an unlawful misdemeanor act.

Could the length of time between the ongoing provocation and Joshua’s killing be a factor in how Colin is prosecuted? Why or why not? What other factors might affect this case?

Yes, this time between provocation and killing will be considered also.

Reason: The provocation or repeated harassment by Joshua led to this involuntary killing by Colin.

Other factors could be:

(A)Did any witness see that Colin was trying hard to stop the car so that it will not hit Joshua.

(B)Age of Colin.

(B)Any history of previous criminal activity or same nature of act by Colin.

As a Christian, how can you spot signs of bullying, and how can you address these issues in a way that honors the dignity and cares for the souls of all parties?

As a Christian, we condemn all kinds of bullying because Christianity believes in compassion and peace. Spot signs of bullying can be understood if a person or child suffering from bullying

• becomes aggressive and unreasonable
• starts to get into fights
• refuses to talk about what is wrong
• has unexplained bruises, cuts, scratches

I can address these issues so that honor, dignity, care of all people or parties may be established by teaching people with Jesus sermons in which he emphasized to behave like a brother without any cruel intentions in the heart. As a Christian, follow the values of love, compassion and peace.
