It is difficult to determine which country has the best health system because of several reasons. It is important to note that the maximum portion of the data is present in different places. More specifically, the data is scattered, from different source systems (like EMRs or HR software) to different departments (like radiology or pharmacy). Accumulating the data into a single, central system (like an enterprise data warehouse (EDW)) is difficult. So, one will not be able to conclude which country in the world has the best health system. In actuality, data capturing has become inconsistent. Recording clinical results on paper have led to an industry, which records data most conveniently, without paying attention to the fact that how data could be amassed and examined. It is also important to note that since evidence-based practice and new research is taking place on a day-to-day basis, it is leading to inconsistent variable definitions. Without consistent variable definitions, it will not be possible to aggregate correct and reliable data, to know, which country in the world has the best health system.
