In such case the group leaders must arrange frequent meeting. In the meeting he must maintains impartiality. All the agenda should be discussed openly. In the meeting he may form some sub-committee and must make some small groups and give them responsibilities to do some works. By making sub-committee he can break the sub-group. Besides, he must remind the ,members the purpose and function of the group and how they can maintain their harmony.
It is very bad to form sub-group outside the group. It deviates the members from doing their job. It also makes the members break the group norm. They fail to maintain the group psychology. The members fail to respect each other.
