To this this hypothesis, we will use a pretest-posttest design.

The independent variable will be academic performance of the children.

The dependent variable will be number of hours the children watch tv.

The children for the study will be chosen through random assignment.

Data collection can be done through a questionnaire (survey) sent to the parents.

Ananlysis can be done using a statistical approach to calculate mean and t-test scores.

It is important to remember that children should not be exposed to television for a large amount of time.
