Many participants ask to read the final research paper. once the findings have been submitted or even published. If you completed a series of case study interviews and gathered findings that were not favorable to your interviewees (for example, their words damaged their cause, but really supported the points you were trying to make) how would you approach their request?

(Answer) Firstly, the course of actions in such situations should be dictated by the initial contract or agreement that the participants have signed before the experiment. These contracts generally outline the ethical guidelines, full-disclosure agreements, information about the experiment and effect of it on the subject. This is the part of the agreement that outlines the responsibility of the researcher towards the subject.
Along with this, even the subject would have to maintain certain responsibilities towards the researcher. Contract breaches, permit for releasing certain information, the anonymity of identity and other tangents would have to be maintained by the subject.
If the researcher has followed all of these guidelines, then they would not be responsible to withdraw any details about their research. However, if the researcher has broken the agreement rules and disclosed information that shouldn’t have been mentioned, then the researcher would have to ethically withdraw their paper from the publication and only re-publish with the terms satisfied.
