Pyrrho (C. 360-270 BC), was an ancient skeptic who was firmly convinced that "nothing can be known." In other words, suspend judgment in all matters. Why? Every theory can be opposed by another equally sound theory. Thus, suspend judgment on all issues.

Philosophical skepticism is a philosophical school of thought that questions the possibility of certainty in knowledge. Skepticism is not a single position but covers a range of different positions. In ancient world there were two main skeptical tradition .Academic skepticism took the dogmatic position that Knowledgewas not possible while Pyrrohonian skepticism refused to take dogmatic position on any issue.
