Conductors: conductors are use for the transmission of current From one place to another places . In high voltage transmission line conductors are use to transfer the power .If there were no conductors we can't able to transfer the power from one place to another .

Insulators : Proper insulation to the conductor improve the life line of the conductors .In underground transmission line we have to insulate the conductor with proper insulator so that conductor couldn't be damage .If there were no insulators it very difficult to save the conductor from to get damage .

Hence both are very important element in electrical engineering.
