Explain why, based on faraday's law a simple AC generator requires power conditioning before being sent into grid ?
Ac generator: At power station across generator is synchronize Ac generator . According to Faraday law when conductor rotate in magnetic field it will induced emf in conductor .This emf is called the output voltage of generator .The generator should rotate at the constant speed so that frequency of output voltage and current is same . before being sent into the grid the AC generator should synchronize with grid the only it can efficiently able to delivered active and reactive power to grid . before sending to the grid voltage should be step up so that copper losses minimize and after reaching the grid voltage should be step down so that we can use it effectively .
