Some microwave ovens affect WiFi connections during theirs heating cycles. Try streaming a video next to your home microwave while it is heating something. Does it affect your WiFi connection? What is the frequency that your WiFi router is working on? Briefly explain why some microwaves affect nearby WiFi while others don’t. Please wirte it clearly.
If talking about your question ,YES ,microwave ovens affect WiFi connections. It can really mess up with the speed of your wifi connection. This happens because Wi-Fi routers and microwave both actually work on similar frequency that is around 2.4 gigahertz. In other words you can say that there is a interference and this interference can muck up your web access.
Some older routers can only work at 2.4 gigahertz frequency but nowadays modern routers can work on both 2.4 and 5 GegaHertz it means this modern router will surpass the radiation level of the microwave and it will allow us to use Wi-Fi enabled device without any issue. And by the way I am using this modem router (Jiofi 2) and it operates on 5 Gegahertz frequency :)
