Homework Answers

Answer #1

In summer, air is generally hot. Due to connection, hot air rises higher because its density gets lower when it is hot. This process is involves connection heating. Now, rooms at higher altitute will face this hot air, thats why, top floors are hotter than ground. Heavy cool air recides at lower level.

Ducts is better to be placed near the ceiling where hot air coming in contact with the cold surface will get cooler.

In shopping malls and industries , this procees of cooling finds its application in our daily life
