Describe Entropy in terms of natural disasters.

Describe Entropy in terms of natural disasters.

Homework Answers

Answer #1

A very simple meaning of entropy is the degree of randomness.

Generally, the new innovative activity of humankind reduces the entropy of the environment. The continuous reduction in the entropy of the earth is closer to the critical level of the organization.

When the entropy of the environment increases continuously (randomness or disorder) than it increases the tendency of the destruction of the earth.

The effective processes for this purpose are internal (Terrestrial). Global Catastrophes, including the effective process of nuclear world war. The main way to avoid above Catastrophes is to increase the critical level of the organization of the Earth. There is only one way for this purpose to increase the openness of a planet in relation to space.

During natural disasters such as the flooding in Burma one policy choice is to do nothing, i.e. let prices rise and fall according to increases and decreases in supply and demand. A second policy choice is to interfere in the market, regulate prices, and prevent the price of goods such as corrugated steel roofing, gasoline, nails, water, food, etc. from rising. The argument frequently made to justify regulating prices is that owners of scarce goods are taking advantage of people...
