Who or what was responsible for the ignition switch defect and the resulting deaths and injuries? In your response, please consider the roles of General Motors and it’s managers and employees, u.s. auto safety regulators, and the drivers of the vehicles themselves and their representatives.

In my view , GM's faulty production system was responsible for the same because it must notice the ignition switch defect while the trial or testing phase of the vechicles . A lack of proper coordination among floor level employees as well as executives team was also the cause for faulty production. US auto safety regulators were equally responsible because of the fact that it should taken immediately strong actions against GM when they have reported few misshapening due to the ignition switch defect so that other owners could be saved.

Drivers should also take care of the vechicles they were to ride but unfortunately due to their ignorance and insufficient knowledge, they were face severe challenges. Union people should raise the issues with political pressure so that appropriate actions were taken by the US government in this regards.
