1. A. What factors lead to a heightened awareness about our natural environment?

Let’s start with the factors those lead to a heightened awareness about our natural environment, as human being we started using many luxury items like cars, houses, smart phones, we started progressing through 21 century and changed the environmental condition across the world, finally environment awareness has become a important discussion point for our survival in the planet,

All these following activities or factors created by human being directly or indirectly those contribute to destruction of Natural Environment like:

Overpopulation: Too much population is very important factor, people start to survive in this planet by cutting trees, by closing ponds, by many unethical conduct and doing fighting with each other, as a result Natural planet ecosystem getting destroyed, Emission of CO2 getting increased day by day, finally disruption of natural Environment and time to think again on saving natural environment for saving our eco system,

Pollution: Pollution taking important role in destroying our natural Environment, As National Ambient air quality has defined a standard with metric that 75 parts per billion volume, as such standard violated most of the metro cities to others cities in very large way, United state also produce more than 150 million metric ton of air pollution each year, As devastating quality of aerosols and smog continuously blocks out the sun, creating a threat for us and leading to destruction of natural environment

Global Warming: Global worming takes another crucial role in destructing natural environment, finally which making us aware to save the planet again and again, Very high level of emission of CO2 causing increasing temperature of the planet, as result arctic land ice and glaciers melt down and sea water level going on increasing day be day,

Others factors like Climate change due to development of Industrial City and Technologies, Genetic Modification or genetically modified Organisms, Fertilizers used for better producing crops but bringing threat to planet finally bring us with awareness to save Natural environment,

As Ozone layer can take or absorb harmful UV rays which are otherwise vary much detrimental to human being, however, Ozone layer Depletion due to various depleting substance availability, causing UV rays to come out to human being, we must find multi alternative to save such thing and our planet,

Acid rain which directly kill large area of forest and destroy planet and human life directly and indirectly,

Deforestation as due to Human being has become too much demanded started expanding their shelter, Food needs, manufacturing needs, Road construction and others which caused deforestation finally threat to Natural environment.

Water Pollution another very common cause and Ocean Acidification also very crucial in destroying our Natural Environment,

All these happenings are the very important factors which making awareness to all people to save planet, to save natural environment for long living of us and our generation.

1. B. Why was the environment much less of a public issue 20 or 30 years ago?

20 to 30 years ago, the environment was not much of public issue, because Population now and then day by day increasing, becoming threat to natural environment, Industrialization like Oil drilling, Deforestation, Production of Plastic goods in high amount, Emission of very harmful gases to environment, Pollution like air Pollution, Sound and soil Pollution day by day increased due to maintaining luxury life of human being and poor awareness across the world, High demand for quick production of any goods, People became much selfish fulfilling their personal goal by damaging environment, as Environment has become a discussion point for its saving and to save planet and planet of human living, 20 to 30 years ago people population was far below what we see today as world population, many people simply depending on natural agriculture process, however, the supply and demand chain forced us to produce anything through industrial process, which having many goodness and significant points like as mentioned above causing detrimental effect to our natural environment.

2. Discuss the relationship between a company's treatment of our natural environment and its competitiveness. Are there industries that have a stronger or weaker relationship between these two components?

Company face many competition in the market as there are either others competitor available in the market or Supply and demand changing day by day which may be sometimes very tough to analyze and justify,

Now a days there are various kind of Organization range start from Bigger/Giant to middle figure and small figure Organization, Organization worries about their profitability formulae and even many organization do think of long survival or Sustainability by giving sufficient satisfaction to all level of stakeholder,

However there are company they do such business like plastic baggage production, emission of very detrimental gases like CO2, sulpher oxide and others, hardly care for plantation, Oil drilling work and illegally releasing oil to sea side, waste emission which are not correctly reused or recycled, such things always create a challenging situation to our natural environment,

There is definitely strong connectivity between Organizational competitiveness and Natural environment as due to too much competition or so called start with various internal project of improvement for organizational survival and doing market study and understanding various Niche market which to needed to produce benchmark and fulfill the organizational need and gain business benefits, However in connection with Natural environment may get destroyed due to many reason like pollution may increase, proper plantation not done, also company utilized all the area so no place for trees, all area may be covered with luxury items, so place for Plantation, finally many activity like Oil and gas emission, Smoke emission can create several threat to Organization.

3. How do you see project management as a tool for implementing new environmental quality programs? Discuss.

Project management and Its tools take very important role in implementing new environmental quality programs or in other word with a hope to save our Natural environment, finally the planet itself, and the planet of Human being,

So let’s explain about Project Management idea:

We can work on clean power like solar and wind power and its technology introduction and utilization for both our own use and community use which will help us to stay far away from fossil fuels,

Lets buy less plastic products and create idea for Reusing and Recycling the plastic products, as well as glass bottles, jute bags, earth pot,

Work on Waste minimization through waste recycling system, Waste reuse system and can produce a product from waste

Bring the farmers market completely natural by reducing pesticide food which destroying our natural environment

Instead of doing personal driving if we take bus, carpool, walk , ride , use of cycle such thing can reduce greenhouse gas emission and can save our planet to much extent,

Others project management ideas like training, coaching to all people start from child to school level students to graduate students and then professional also

Project on Plantation and logical analyze on its effect to our society

So like these, there are many project management ideas can be implemented which can lead to bringing awareness of our natural environment and such project management definitely needed to plan any improvement and track the current situation, all these should be Encouraged by Government, NGO or NPO, the Organization, even the individual, so would be very helpful to bring awareness among human being and save the planet to many extent or finally save our natural environment
