Answer #1

B. False

Pharma goods and service are prescription products. hence customers generally do not buy them in excess. if promotional offer and even discount do not always reflect in increased revenue. The direct consumers are patients whose primary expectation from pharma product is to get cure of disease/illness.

Promotions have direct effect on FMCG where activities like discount and promotional offers stimulates consumer to buy more. but pharma goods and services are prescribed products and not FMCG. Hence promotional activities cannot tempt consumers to buy more.
