Why do you think the Project life cycle is often depicted as starting slow, peaking and then dropping back down at the end? What does this mean?
The consideration for a project to start slow is because the
teams conducting it also go through various lifecycle stages,
especially if the individuals have never worked together before and
the project might add additional challenges. Both the input of cash
and the amount of work done is low. When the teams get in a state
of flow, the project usually reaches the middle stages where the
most work occurs and therefore, due to higher degree of work in
progress, the project peaks while gradually getting lower at the
end stages because of budgetary constraints and the challenges that
the completion would imply due to the various constraints that have
been placed as the requirements of the project.
