(Company address)

Dear (HR manager name)

This is with reference to the pending vacancy in the organization I came across, for the position of COO (chief operating officer). I have been working with the organization since years and spent my entire career working in different departments of this organization, such as manufacturing, marketing, finance, managerial accounting and human resources.

Over the years I have improved on my versatility and enhanced my decision making skills using critical thinking and holding good command over the teams I have been working with. Being a part of the manufacturing team I had learned how to work effectively and efficiently without wasting the resources and making sure that the production process goes in line with the organizational strategies. As a marketing manager I have understood the importance of taking decisions by thinking critically and based on facts and figures. A clear understanding about the competitors and the market have also been gathered by me over the years.

Being a part of the managerial accounting department I had gathered knowledge about the accounting aspects and laws to be followed while preparing the books and the auditing requirements as well. And lastly working as a HR manager I had improved my skills on emotional intelligence and understood how to communicate well with the employees so that a clear picture of tasks is depicted to them and no delay in target achievement occurs.

Being a part of this organization have helped me enhance my career and grow my skills and expertise over different domains of the business. Therefore I consider myself a good fit for the current vacancy of chief operating officer (COO) and I hope that my candidature will be considered for the same.

Thanking you,

(your name)

VP- MFG
