Provide a paragraph on why international college students often struggle with finding housing and why having a dorm for international students could be helpful for them

One of the main barriers to international students struggling to find housing is the lack of awareness. Most students when they go abroad to study are not aware of the housing arrangements, the documents needed, and other requirements needed by the landlord when looking for homes. Due to this lack of awareness, some end up staying in a hotel or subletting an apartment until they find a better place. Some are also misled thinking the University will provide accommodations and only learn of it after they reach the University. Also, the absence of contacts becomes an issue in finding homes as there is nobody to help in the search for homes. To overcome these barriers, dorms are the best solution as they first eliminate the need to struggle in finding a place to stay. According to research, students who don't have to worry about housing can focus better on their academic areas. This is mainly due to the access to resources on the campus, the absence of wasting time searching for homes, the time to travel back and forth is also eliminated. These factors are why it is better to have dorms for International students and besides this, it would positively impact their success in the University.
