AllTrans Inc is a Delaware based company who specializes in transporting toys for its client Happy Faces Inc, situated in Connecticut. The firm is given a contract to transport the toys consignments from 4 of its strategic source locations to 5 of its destinations. The source locations are Virginia (VA), Delaware (DE), Massachusetts (MA) and New York (NY). The destination states are California (CA), Orlando (OR), Idaho (ID), Washington (WA) and Nevada (NV). There are two intermediate locations in between the routes where the products have to be shipped first and then they get sourced to their respective locations - Texas (TX) and Nebraska (NE). The source locations have their respective supply capacity as shown in the diagram. The destination locations have their demand capacity as shown in the figure-1 below. Also, the handling capacity of the intermediate stations is 100 units. Assuming every location from source to intermediate has a distance of 1250 air miles. Similarly, assume that every location from intermediate to the destination has a distance of 1250 air miles. The cost to ship a box of 10 toys is $1 per air miles.

Solve this transportation problem with a view to minimizing the Cost of transportation.

We are given the following CSP problem. The variables and domains are as follows. A: {4, 5, 6, 7, 8} B: {10, 20, 30, 40} C: {2, 3, 4} D: {28, 43, 56, 77, 94, 114} The constraints are: A + C is odd. A + D is a square of an integer. B + D < 60. Solve this problem using the following heuristics and algorithms. • Use backtracking search. • For variable ordering, use MRV. If there are...

In Java or  C++ Develop a simulation program to simulate an 8-port Ethernet switch. The switch initially has no knowledge about the hosts connected to each port. It learns frame addresses and stores-and-forwards the frames. The input text file "in.txt" contains information of the incoming frames, one frame per line. There are 4 pieces of data per line: frame ID, arrival port, frame source address, and frame destination address. The frames arrive at the switch in the order of which they...

c++ Program Description You are going to write a computer program/prototype to process mail packages that are sent to different cities. For each destination city, a destination object is set up with the name of the city, the count of packages to the city and the total weight of all the packages. The destination object is updated periodically when new packages are collected. You will maintain a list of destination objects and use commands to process data in the list....
