- OR gate - This is a symbol used to
represent an event that occurs even when at least one of the input
events takes place
- AND gate - This is a symbol used to
represent an event that occurs only when all input conditions are
satisfied
- Exclusive OR gate - This is a symbol
used to represent an event that occurs when only if one of the
input conditions is met and not if all conditions are met
- Priority AND gate - This is a symbol
used to represent an event that occurs only after a specific
sequence of conditions are met
- Inhibit gate - This is a symbol used
to represent an event that occurs when all the input events take
place and also whatever is described in a conditional event
