> Functional requirements specify what a project should do. Functional requirement describes specific behavior required from the project under certain conditions.

For example, create order copy for the customer when stock is greater than the cutomer order. Another example could be send a mail to customer when order status is completed.

> Non functional requirement says how a project or system should behave. It sets limits on functionality.They generally specify quality attributes.

For example, mail should be sent to customer with in 3 mins after order status is completed.
