Dear student, I am not allowed to answer multiple questions, so I'm answering the first question

Identify and describe at least four ways to respond supportively by listening to another person’s remarks. The options are advising, judging, analyzing, questioning, comforting, prompting and reflecting)

Following are the four ways to respond supportively-

  • Advising- After listening to another person’s remarks, advising that person is a positive way to respond. The advice should be given in a thoughtful and considered manner to respect the emotions of that person.
  • Comforting- Comforting a person is one of the best ways to act in such a situation. It will calm the person and clear the mind to think correctly.
  • Prompting- Prompting the person to act in the right manner or persuading them to act is another way to respond, but it should be done in a manner that is not harsh or promotes such behavior.
  • Analyzing- Analyzing the situation as a response is a good way to start, so as to avoid giving any wrong advice or commenting something difficult.
