When using social media networking there is a risk of inappropriate behavior which may lead to harassment. Risk can also include negative feedback and hacking or information leaks...if a customer has made false claims on your social media channels, it may be misleading to other customers which may result in sifting of customers to compeitirs.the company should respond to such risk by having a good social media strategy in place and good governance and risk management, firms should also have crisis management policy in place which ensures what to do when something goes wrong on social media and how to use social media in a crisis. Finally determine how the company is In compliance with such policies including data privacy and protection, advertising, record keeping and supervision.
