Russian leader Putin is the President of Russia and is a charismatic personality. He was born in Leningrad in 1952 and graduated with a law degree in 1975. He joined KGB –Russian intelligence agency. After retiring in 1991, he became an advisor to Antony Sobchak. Then he became deputy mayor. Under Boris Yeltsin (then president), he became responsible for Kremlin relations with regional governments. He became head of federal security service and Security Council. When Yeltsin retired, Putin was made as the acting president. Then in the next election, he won by a majority. In 2008 he could not contest elections due to constitutional limits on presidential terms and his protégé became the president. Putin now became the prime minister. Putin has a strong personality. He restructured the Russian economy and foreign policies

Putin’s quote on Washington post – (words changed) –,’ after the end of the cold war the world was left with one dominant center. Those people became powerful that they began to think they know what to do for the world. They don’t deal with or consider the UN as a superior force or as a regulatory authority for them’.

The country strongly believes in its theories especially on economics but time and again it has failed on several fronts. This includes free trade agreements, globalization etc. All these things have been a backlash to the country with the loss of jobs in the US. This also extends to security and everyone knows that the US was the prime supporter of Afghan terrorists during their early days. They think they can precisely predict, control and decide upon things, but they can’t always, without inputs and collaboration from international society

The UN has served as a puppet handled by the US, on serval issues. The US has indirectly defied the rules of UN or bypassed such rules. The UN and its rules exist for other countries, not for the US. The United States has been condemned throughout the world for being a rogue nation unleashing violence in the Middle East and trying to control other countries through trade agreements, UN etc. it pretends to be the vanguard of terrorism but it is an open fact, that it encourages terrorists and revolutionary groups in accordance with its whims.

The US has been long using its veto power to make international decisions totally favorable to the US. This is supported by its close allies Britain and France on serval occasions. Through effective marketing they make the world believe that what they say is right, their decision is people friendly and long-term. But this has been proven totally false on many occasions e.g. entering Iraq and occupying the country, with the excuse of finding chemical weapons, when no such weapons could ever be unearthed.

As Putin said US’s position has invited grudges from countries throughout the world
