Why is it essential that parents, caregivers, teachers, physicians and specialists communicate with each other when observing, screening and assessing young children who may need early intervention services? What might be some challenges to effective communication with all parties?

Child may be delayed in one or more areas of development. Close observation and indepth observation is needed to understand the minute things and to identify it at the earliest. So, for that everyone dealing with the child shoukd have a very good communication.

Coping with the physical and emotional demands of caring for a special child is an important challenge, differences in perception and viewpoints, professional egos are the challenges causing lack of communication.
