Both Drs. Ashe and Cobble have admitting privileges at two local hospitals and often make rounds there to check on their patients. Both hospitals have EHR systems, but they are not the same system that AAA will have. It is important to the doctors that they be able to share patient information between their office and the hospitals. Describe to the doctors how they can accomplish their goal. What will need to be done at AAA, at each hospital, and at the state level to make this work?

AAA - AUTHENTICATION, AUTHORIZATION,ACCOUNTING.

The doctors have to go through these three to transfer the information from hospital to office.

Authentication- is the process to check that the identity that is claimed is true or not.

Authorization- is the permission to access the services.

Accounting - is the tracking of the things being done by the user.

The doctors must have to take permission from the hospital administration and IT Department to get access to information related to patient .And at the state level the permission has to be taken from the state informatics department to have access which a organisation under national informatics department.
