7) A union is an organization of workers who are employed by the same employer and who use their collective power,by unionization the healthcare employees are able to have secure safe work conditions and equitable pay for their labour.the pros are betterwages,job security and strength in numbers in this unionized workers have more power as a cohesive group than by acting individually and seniority because the rules differ among collective bargaining agreements, the advantage of the seniority is it is objective cons : by the union negotiations can be lead to wages and other assocaited costs being boosted to unreasonably high level , and by union protecction makes difficult for employers to discipline , terminate or promote employees, and balance of power there is tension between employer and employees resulting from labor unions is ofteen counterproductive.
