Dairy: The MyPlate tells us that we should include low fat dairy sources in our diet. Review Your MyPlate percentage and discuss if your intake is adequate and what this means in relation to your health. Identify at least 3 dairy sources from your Spread Sheet Report and report indicate if they are low fat or whole fat. If your intake met the recommendation discuss what you do to have an adequate dairy consumption. If your percentage is below 85% state the foods that you can incorporate into your diet to improve your dairy intake. Discuss when and how you will improve your percentage in order for you to meet your daily recommendation. *Dairy--If you are lactose intolerant or avoid dairy, develop a detailed plan as to how you can obtain calcium in your diet.
