AIDS ( Acquired immuno deficiency syndrome) is a group of diseases. It is caused by a virus usually by transmission ( sexual relationship, needle prick, mother to baby,transfusion)

They are diagnosed with the presence of HIV in the blood.

Neoplasm, Herplex simplex virus are common in this infection. The life expectancy of these patient have greatly increased to 10 to 15 years when taking the proper course of antiretroviral therapy. This is the treatment for it.

Keloid can be seen in patients with HIV/AIDS( extra growth of skin in an injured area in healing process)

For example in diabetes mellitus

Poluria :increased frequency of urination

Polydypsia: increased thirst

Polyphagia: increased hunger
