Nursing is caring for individual using evidence based care and observing at every steps of care.

Health research is researching of the available knowledge to gain more data that will be useful in treatment of disease.

Characteristics of health research

1. It has to be action oriented aimed at developing solutions. It is a purposeful activity.

2. It should have multidisciplinary approach. For eg doctors nurses give their inputs.

3. Health research is participatory, researchers patients participate in the process of research.

4. Health research must be timely. It should follow timelines for completion of research.

5. Research designs should be simple and effective.

Need for research proposal

Research proposal clearly describes why the research is to be done, in what way is it going to be, Who would be the potential funders. How wwoul it be helpful in near future.so it is very much necessary for the research proposal to be submitted in proper clear in precise manner.
