a. Antiserum is either human or non human serum ,which contains antibodies aganist specific antigens or specific diseases.

b . In thsi therapy serum is used from people who recovered from an illness to treat other people affected with the same diseases.

Blood taken from the people contains antibodies to the specific disesases.The blood cells are removed from blood ,ony antibodies and plasma remains.It helps to recover from the illness.

c . this is a high risk procedure because blood is used to treat disesaes.

There are some risks assosiated with this therapy are

• Allergic reaction
• lung damage
• Infection like HIV and Hepatitis B and C.

To avoid with this complication blood should be checked throughly for the screening of infections.

Infusion must be given slkowly over 2 hours.
