Consider the significance of the events that occured during the Chicago World's Fair, 1893, to the advancement of the nursing profession. What would nurse leaders address today if they were to hold a leadership summit accross all domains of the profession?

The Chicago's World Fair 1893, was a “landmark in nursing history”. At the World Fair, few women officers in the nursing career collectively addressed the weaknesses in nursing education. This guided to the evolution of the National League of Nursing Education, succeeding theNational League of Nursing, substituted the American Society of administrators of Training Schools for Nurses. This association was founded to promote and transform the education practice for nurses in a better way.

The nurse leaders if they were to hold a leadership summit across all domains of the profession today, would address the honor need to be given to the nursing profession which is being degraded as a low-class profession for few years.
