EMR means electronic medical record. In this the health care providers record the health information of the patients in computer or in the software.

Like opinion of the clinician using EMR:

- it is more easy to record very quickly and safe time.

- it prevent from any drug dose or medical error

- it provide the investigation data of the patients in short peroid of time. Before delivering the result of the investigation, the clinician can see the result the sofcopy first.

- this helps to store the data for the life long.

- if the very old case also can be search within a second by typing the patient name and impatient or outpatient ID number.

- more confidentiality in storing the information of the patient because on the authority person can access the file of the patient.

Dislike about EMR:

- it takes lots of time to learn how to use the EMR to the health worker.

- it can even hake by anyone and take out the information of the patient.

The transition from the paper record to the EMR leads to drastic changes in the workflow. During the paper record, the clinicial have to write by his or her own handwritting so it needs more time and it looks so dirty if any correction done in the paper. There is increase medical error due to difficulty is identifying the correct dose due to the different way of handwritting styles. Also the clinician have to take care of the file to be stored properly and prevent from uneccessary access by unauthorized person. Now after practicing the EMR,less time consumpt for the documentation, decrease the medication error. The documentation is secure and no unauthorized person cannot access to it. This leads to safe the time of the staff during the workflow.
