No, employers should not have the right to choose employees without "governmental interference". I say this in the context of government fixing norms for giving equitable employment for even the economical backward. The government can set norms like say 20% of the total employees should belong to economically weaker sections so that there is an equitable distribution of wealth.
Experience: This is a personal experience that happened in my neighbourhood. There was an individual who was smart and who knew how to do things, but lacked a college degree from a top university. Hence, he was jobless although he had the required skills. The local government set in place that all employers should select 15% of their employees from economically weaker section and I was happy to find that this person was employed and did very well because of the government interference.
