Step 1.Get Your Ekay

Getting your Ekay is the first step for commercial registration in bahrain.Ekay handy to be able to use sijilath,s online portal.Having an Ekay account helps you to access a wide range of govenment services using a single password.There are two types of Ekay.Advanced and Standard.Advanced Ekay ,You are entitled to the highest level of the security sijilat has to offer along with the access to all its e services.This includes Highly confidential services that requires the varification of your biometric and smart card.Standard Ekay is Easier to create,but it has only few features.

b)Requirement for Registration

1.Register on Sijlat

Once you have your own Ekay then you need to register on official sijlat portal(www.sijlat.bh) and click on the menu button "Apply for commercial Registration)

2.Add activity

In order to get the commercial registration you need to add activity of your company to determine the nature of goods/services that you will provide.

3.Upload Documents

Here,You have to provide your personal info and supporting documents.Documents Required Such as a written agreement between the agent and pricipal,Copy of Chamber of commerce member ship card,The Trademark will be checked by registration Directorate.

4.Review and Submitt

This is the last step for registration,Here you need to check the information provided is correct and true.Once you submitt the commercial registration application you can track the status using "Aplication status Enquiry Button"
