What is frequency response and how does it apply to a JFET?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Answer :- Frequency response is the measuremet of magnitude and phase of the output signal w.r.t the input signal frequency. Frequency response of a system gives the idea about the system's bandwidth and gain of the system at different input frequencies.

JFET can be used as an amplifier. Frequency response analysis of JFET with all connections will give the value of gain and bandwidth of JFET. Also we can find the range of frequecy in which gain is stable. Note that the gain and bandwith changes if the JFET biasing chages.
