Select a noninvasive sensor you can use to detect the temperature of the human body, explain it working briefly with examples?
The non invasive sensor that has significant importance in this COVID19 era is ofcourse my example here, the "IR thermometer" .
working
The working of the IR thermometers that is now used to measure body temperature is very simple, we know that infrared is a type of energy emitted or radiated from any surface of object and it is part of the electromagnetic spectrum, these sensors work on the principle of focusing the the light in the form of infrared from the body ( fore head ,ear etc) and tunneling that infrared rays into detectors known as thermopiles, these thermopiles converts this infrared radiations into heat and then converted into electrical signals and then measured and displayed in the IR thermometer. We can see its application commonly now in Airports, Railway stations, Industries etc
