A firm should formulate as well as implement strategies from an environmental perspective because, without the environment, there would be no business. More importantly, there would be no life without our precious environment. Issues like ozone depletion, global warming, and depletion of rain forests have occurred due to the continuous spread of the human population and business expansion. Corporate green efforts lessen the damage to the environment, which gives them a competitive advantage over corporations that don’t. However, no matter how much a corporation attempts to “go green,” at the root of it all, their ruthless and persistent expansion is what is killing our earth.
