Now, the businesses have to process the personal data as per the guidelines and principles of the law. It protects the privacy and prevents the handling of data via unauthorized hands. Further, the law due consideration to the transfer of data from Europe to the USA by the businesses. As a result, people in Europe now better control their personal information.  In this way, the GDPR law strongly affects the US based businesses.
