Answer #1

At this situation as HR manager I used the geocentric strategy. It is the best approach used to select new one. This strategy can be used in competitive business environment.
If we are comparing the three strategies in the selection process, the ethnocentric strategy aligned to the parent company, the local nationals recruited junior positions to maintain headquarters’ which can influence the primary stage. The polycentric method used in competitive business environment. The primary policy according to the region or country of the business firm. Here the parent country govern the strategies at their headquarter. Geocentric strategy employed people both at top and middle management, irrespective of their nationality. On other hand, meritocratic system can be used to retain best talent.
