Economic inequality exists in Canada to a great extent and it is noted that the top 10% of the people accumulate over half of the well and the bottom 30% have less than 1% of the total countries wealth on the whole. however various measures have been taken by the government in order to reduce the economic inequality factors high amount of progressive taxation system, employment benefits and proper healthcare and education access to all the people so that the economic inequality in the future stage is reduced. However it has been observed that the economic inequality is all time low in 1989 and has been increasing since that time
