According to an unidentified source, one of the US Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) once wrote to former Microsoft CEO, Steve Ballmer while objecting against outsourcing, "Microsoft has a moral obligation to protect these American workers by putting them first during these difficult economic times." Do you agree with Senator Chuck? Should we value ethics or focus on economic growth? Are these goals mutually exclusive? Please let us know what you think
Ans. As senator chuck Grassley is a public representative and he need to answer public for a high rate of unemployment which is caused by one the factor is outsourcing. So from chuck Grassley's point of view it is right to comment over outsourcing. But as per Microsoft they are private limited company and they are facing problem in the market due to some of the less specialized employees in the company so they need to hire best amongst the world the make there company in the top in the software business because it requires a high potential to be a software developer and everyone does not possess an expertise in software developing so from the both of them point of view they are right. But there could be a neutral solution for this which can be discussed around the table with company and the government to reach upto a neutral solution.
