1.      Mr. Alfred is a happily married man with two children’s age 7 and 3. His wife is working as a Professor at the university. Mr. Alfred is willing to stay at home and while his wife works. Is he employed or unemployed? Justify the answer with an appropriate reason and its type.

2.      Mr. Daniel is studying in the college at B. Tech, Mechanical, branch. He started training at Google corporation as an unpaid Trainee. Is he employed or unemployed? Justify the answer with an appropriate reason and its type

3.      Mr. Alex is a retired Army officer from the army of India. Is he employed or unemployed? Justify the answer with an appropriate reason and its type.

4.      Many people migrated to Australia through Immigration programs but still, they have not got the jobs in their related/ concerned/ in which they are trained areas or fields. Many of them are working as a part-time worker in MacDonald’s and KFC outlets. They are working in these outlets as a part-time workers so that they can search and find time job positions. Are they employed or unemployed? Justify the answer with an appropriate reason and its type.

1. Mr. Alfred is neither employed nor unemployed. In fact, he is not in the labor force because he is not actively searching for a job.

2. Mr. Daniel is employed. Although unpaid, he is working in google corporation.

3. Mr. Alex is neither employed nor unemployed. He is not part of labor force. The labor force excludes retired persons.

4. The migrants working in MacDonald’s and KFC outlets are employed because employment includes full time as well as part time jobs.
