A. Define discrimination in employment. Explain why a private sector employer usually seeks to stop discrimination within their own company.

B, C, D. Derek Laing gives several reasons why discrimination exists in employment. Separately answering as parts B, C, and D, give and explain three separate causes of discrimination in private sector employment. (Note: Last year I gave this question in the final, and some people incorrectly answered race, gender, age, etc. Those answers are not the causes of discrimination, those are phony excuses. If you choose this question, the answer has to be the economics causes.)
