In regards to using Access Tables (Microsoft), use the example of a student applying for admission to an institution of higher education again. What fields should be required? What fields should be validated? How should the rules be set up to test these validations? (This is hypothetically asking, so there is no table)

Fields that are required for taking addmission in higher institute can be:

• Name
• Course
• Phone number
• Email ID
• Permanent Address and Temporary Address
• School of 10th with marks
• School of 12th with marks
• Name of the course to be perseud.
• Information of the guardian
• Identity Proof.

Fields that are required to be validated:

• Email ID
• Phone number
• Marks scored in 10th.
• Marks scored in 12th.

In MS-Access validation rules can be set up as:

On the tab menu select the Field Validation group, then click on validation, then from all the options choose Record validation rule and then rules can be created for any field using the Expression Builder.
